Family and Friends

Our families live mostly on the east coast but we keep in touch like many 21st century families: we see everyone a few times a year and talk frequently on the phone. Both sets of parents have been married a combined 95 years and set incredible examples of strong marriages. They are all thrilled at the prospect of becoming grandparents and are very enthusiastic and supportive about our plans for an open adoption.

In addition to our families, we have a great network of local friends. We're part of a monthly dinner club where we explore offbeat local restaurants. We also love a good bowling night - and have the bowling shirts to prove it. Every year we host an Oscar party, which is our big event of the year. We create a themed menu based on that year's movies, cook all weekend in preparation, and serve a large spread, both savory and sweet. We even roll out the red carpet for our guests!
