Our Home

We live in a craftsman bungalow in Oakland, just across the bay from San Francisco. Our neighborhood is ethnically diverse with lots of children who love to play together. There’s an adorable cafe just down the street called Tumble and Tea where parents and small kids play together.

Our two dogs, Cady and Roxie, are big enough to go hiking but not so big as to overwhelm the house. We also have a silver striped tabby named Pippi who is playful and cuddly. We take our dogs for long walks by the bay or hikes in the hills We’re looking forward to strapping a baby on in a carrier (or jogging stroller) and heading off with dogs and baby to enjoy the great California weather! Some of our favorite restaurants are kid-friendly so we plan to introduce our baby to our favorite funky diner as well as all kinds of other ethnic foods.
