Our Story

We met in 1995 through a book club in Salt Lake City, Utah. After a lively discussion about the book, we struck up a conversation. We hit it off right away, and soon discovered that we had similar interests beyond books—movies, cooking, and travel to name a few. As we grew closer we learned that we also shared many similar values.

One thing we knew from early on in our relationship was that we both loved children. We married in 2002 and immediately started trying to have a family. However, we experienced infertility every step of the way. We continue to stay positive in our desire to become parents, and are now excited to form our family through an open adoption.

We are experienced travellers and have visited Thailand, Cambodia, South Africa, Costa Rica, the Cook Islands, and Fiji. We feel these adventures have enriched our own lives and plan on sharing many global adventures with our child!
